Petsearch UK was founded in February 1990 by the late Paula and Harry Greaves, of Solihull, when they found out that pets were being destroyed when their owners were unable to locate them within the statutory 7 days which the authorities allowed. They felt that a central point for registering information of lost and found pets was sorely needed... So Petsearch UK was created. Right
from the start, Paula and Harry were adamant that their service would
always remain completely free. However, they soon realised that demand
for their help was growing rapidly and volunteers would be needed to
cover other areas. As time went on and more people gave their time to
